COCαDA-web is a user-friendly Web Server for interatomic contact calculation in proteins, as well as a database comprising precomputed contacts from the PDB. COCαDA-web uses the COCαDA algorithm, which improves search space pruning using alpha-carbon (Cα) distance matrices.

Cocada is a traditional Brazilian coconut confectionery, especially common in the north-east part of the country. That's where our name, logo and mascot come from!
Cocadas are oven-baked and made only from coconut and sugar. Another common variation is made with brown sugar and slightly burned coconut, which is called "black cocada".
